Overview

WS-FTP LE allows you to transfer files over the Internet from a server to your computer, and vice versa.

Before beginning the process, you may want to review how to create a new folder to receive the downloaded file. To do so, read the Create Incoming section.

You may also wish to go to the Student IT Resources page in DoIT which also discusses downloading useful software.

Search for WS-FTP LE

Go to http://download.com and in the search box enter WF-FTP. Click on Go!

Select to download

WS-FTP LE (32-bit) 5.08 should be listed as a link. Click on it (circled below) or click on Download now (also circled).

Select WS_FTP LE (32-bit)

Again select WS_FTP LE as necessary.

Save the file

A pop-up should appear. Save the file to a folder of your choice (such as “Incoming”) and remember or write down the folder and file name (ws_ftple.exe) if necessary.
