Overview

Once the file has been downloaded to your computer, it has to be installed as a functioning program.

Install WinZip

Click on Start and then on Run. It is easier to click on Browse for the file, unless you know its specific location and name.

Select the file

Once you have located the file, click on Open. Notice, in this example, the folder containing the file is called “Incoming”.

Run

Click on OK to begin the installation process.

When prompted, select Classic WinZip. Skip “Quick Start Express”.

Accept all other default choices for the installation. WinZip should now be installed.
