This degree program provides the student with a foundation in the liberal arts, as well as a thorough exposure to microcomputer applications, technologies and end-user information systems. The student will learn to use the microcomputer as a tool for problem solving and to evaluate organizational technology requirements. Exposure to local area networking, web design, technical writing, computer maintenance and programming are important components of this major as is a field placement experience.
