Welcome to the Grendel WebSite

Diana Neyman

Hi,

My name is Diana Neyman. I came to the United States of America three years ago from a small country in the south of former USSR, Kyrgyzstan. This year is my second year at Pace University. My major is International Management, and my minor is Pre-Law.

I love New York, and when I am free from homework and exams, I love to explore this city. Every time I find something interesting - whether it is an exposition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, or a little antique store in the heart of Manhattan or just a cozy coffee shop - it always leaves sense of adventure in my heart.

One of my hobbies is ballroom dancing. I have been dancing for 6 years, and I have won 6 gold medals in the past year. Although this year I am taking a break from this activity, I am certainly planning to go back and continue. The funniest part would be if I would find a new partner through this website, totally unrelated to the subject of ballroom dancing.

Anyhow, another little hobby that I have is reading. I love to read anything from novels to articles in Time Magazine. Last semester I heard that a new literature course is going to be given at Pace in the fall of 2000. When I found out that the course specializes in medieval and Renaissance literature and that we are going to be building websites, I jumped at the opportunity. And here I am, hopefully not boring you with my writing and this website of my group.

This semester in INT296B I have also written the following works on the subjects of:

ORIGINS of "FRIDAY" and IS BEOWULF a PACIFIST POEM?
