booty:

Possessions seized during wartime and usually considered a prize for the victor.

An agreement or contract between a warrior and his lord. The warrior agrees to protect his lord, in battle, in exchange for food, drink, shelter and riches.

A warrior who enters the bond of comitatus with a lord or a king.
