The Green Knight is a magical character of the epic Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. The Green Knight challenges King Arthur's knights to "Beheading game." However, none of the them, besides Sir Gawain, is brave enough to play the game. The Green Knight represents a moral challenge to King Arthur and his court.
