Dr. Andrew Pletch

Dr. Andrew Pletch, Associate Professor of Computer Science, received a doctorate from Carleton University in Mathematics.

He has been involved in data modeling and building databases for many years. His research interests have centered on developing extensions or alternatives to the Entity-Relationship Model. As a consultant he has built several databases from scratch and has written a concurrent, iterative connection-oriented server that has been handling large volumes of bursty light-transaction (2 data packets) traffic for two years and has not crashed once.

His teaching areas of interest are databases and networks.
