Dr. Baback Izadi

Dr. Baback Izadi received a BS degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, and the MS and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University, Columbus. Since 1998, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New Paltz.

Dr. Izadi's current research interests are fault-tolerant parallel computer architectures, parallel and distributed computing, real-time parallel computing, and web-based systems. He is a member of the IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society.

Prior to coming to New Paltz he was on the faculty of Devry Institute of Technology, Columbus, Ohio.
