Dr. Chuck Tappert
Dr. Chuck Tappert
researched speech recognition and pen computing at IBM for 26 years, taught
adjunct at various institutions while at IBM for 8 years, and taught full-time
7 years in the EE&CS Department at West Point before joining the Pace
University Computer Science faculty in June 2000.
Chuck has extensive
experience in computer science, specializing in pen computing, pattern
recognition, algorithms, graphics, artificial intelligence, and most recently
e-commerce.
He has taught graduate
and undergraduate courses, supervised theses, secured government contracts, and
published over 100 articles in professional journals and books, conference
papers, patents, and technical disclosures.
