Westchester Oratorio Society, under
the direction of its exciting young conductor Ben
Niemczyk, enlists volunteer singers from Westchester,
Fairfield and Putnam counties as well as the New York
metropolitan area. Voices in all categories are welcome,
including those of high school and college age.

No auditions required -
come try us out! We perform music from all time periods
and styles and pride ourselves on the support of
contemporary music alongside the classics. WOS is an
inviting and invigorating environment perfect for amateurs,
pros and lovers of classical music.

WOS concludes its season with music spanning two
centuries, from Bach's triumphant sixth motet to
Brahms' minute masterpiece and Schubert's
Mass no. 5.

In November, 2010 join
Westchester Oratorio Society for a unique and
powerful performance of Messiah, in
collaboration with
REBEL Baroque
Orchestra on period instruments and with
professional soloists.
The only Messiah concert in the area under 3
1/2 hours, this complete performance will be a
fitting start to the holiday weekend that follows.
Perfect for all ages, it is an event not to be
missed.
