Text: Data Mining, fourth edition by Ian Witten and Frank Eibe.

Note that an earlier edition of the book is available free online, and is here: Data Mining, second edition by Ian Witten and Frank Eibe. This book is almost the same, but the 4th edition has more information and better explanations of how to use the software. Also, the section numbers in the Syllabus are for the fourth edition, and are different if you use an earlier edition.

Here are the powerpoint slides for the book, if you wish to use them.
