
Dr. Chienting Lin

Chienting (Kenny) Lin is Assistant Professor of Information Systems at
Pace University,
New York City. He holds a Ph.D. in
Management Information
Systems (MIS) with a minor in Computer Engineering from the
University of Arizona.
His research interests center on Information Assurance and Network Security,
Digital Government and E-Commerce Applications, Knowledge Management Systems,
and implementation of Enterprise Systems.
His research work has appeared in
the Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS), Decision Support
Systems (DSS), Social Science Computer Review (SSCORE), Journal of the
American Society for Information Science (JASIS), and IEEE Transactions
on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (PAMI). He is a member of
the ACM, AIS, and IEEE Computer Society.
He is also a
CISSP
(Certified Information Systems Security Professional), with keen
interests in both security regulatory compliance and secure software
development. He currently serves as Education Advisor to
the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), NY/NJ Metro Chapter,
and Academic Advocate for the Information Systems Audit and Control
Association (ISACA).
