ID Project Objectives (not including reengineering)
1 Course Opinion Survey - add security measures - see Tom Lombardi, Dr. Ragged, etc.
   Coordinate with Dr.T to meet with Ms.Pennipede/Dean for approval to go CSIS dept wide
   Primary objective - conduct CSIS department test at end of semester
DPS Dissertation Surveys - in production - improve with client interaction
   Primary objective - complete spring semester surveys to satisfaction of client
Create appropriate Web interface to system so users can build their own surveys
With your expertise in displaying survey info, help other teams - especially team 4
2 Add capability to upload data from handhelds to desktop PCs
   Primary objective - have nursing students using the system by end of semester
Be creative - make system more generic - break away from FITNE system mold!
3 Primary objective - facility operational with external phone input for both Team 4 Apps
   Must get E-business Phone Survey operational early in semester (Feb 21) for Team 4
Work with Team 4 and DoIT to get Absentee App operational on DoIT's Ascent equipment
   Primary objective - have DoIT commit to testing department or university wide
4 Absentee App - work with Team 3 and DoIT to get operational on DoIT's Ascent equipment
   Primary objective - test on CS616 & compare weekly to actual absentees (start Jan 31)
   Primary objective - have DoIT commit to testing department or university wide
   Time permitting - compare the Absentee App on several voice portals
E-business Phone Survey App - improve through interaction with client and Dr. T
   Primary objective - run actual phone survey by April, display results (Team 1 graphics)
5 This project has been redirected to focus on Internet2 with the possibility of extending the cluster computing work to implement a rudimentary grid computing system. Objectives are to be determined.
6 Primary objective - run Web forgery test on novice subjects, display/evaluate results - April

Design, implement, and test an automated forgery recognition system
   Primary objective - conduct automated forgery recognition to compare with human results
7 Work more closely with clients and Dr.T to attain the primary objectives

10 Complete and refine DPS External website in new University website model by April

11 Input and generate ancestor/descendant charts from "Kings of England" data by April

Use scripting language (e.g., Perl) to convert existing data to SQL to populate database

12 Contact Blackboard personnel to obtain test item data or get CS615 data from Dr. T by April
