Deliverables Common to all Keystroke Projects

  1. Learn how to run the Eclipse IDE. Run the classifier portion of the system (BAS old) to successfully duplicate a previously obtained experimental result, the baseline "LapFree" experiment described in the Technical Report (see link to this report in the Background section) to obtain the result obtained in Table I of that report: Train=180-3825, Test=180-3825, FRR=10.00% (18/180), FAR=3.29% (126/3825), Performance=96.40% (3861/4005). The output will be an HTLM file with 1-nearest-neighbor output. You will be provided with (pre-split) training and test feature files for input to the BAS program.

Detailed instructions from your customer Robert Zack:

  2. Run BAS (newer version) on the same 1-nearest-neighbor experiment to get a CSV file output and obtain the same result as in 1 above.

  3. Run BAS (newer version) on the same experiment but specify 3-nearest-neighbor to get the CSV file output and process the CSV file to obtain the results.

Detailed instructions from your customer Robert Zack:

  4. Run the feature extraction program on the appropriate raw data file to obtain a feature file, manually split the feature file into training and test files to obtain the input files provided in 1 above, run BAS (newer version) on these files to duplicate the results in 2 above.
