Background

Project Description

Some high-level biometric systems combine, or fuse, several biometrics to increase performance over that of the individual biometric systems. Biometric information fusion will be explored using algorithms defined in the professional literature, which may include the Sum Rule, Product Rule, Max Rule, Min Rule, Median Rule, and the Majority Vote Rule. New algorithms will also be explored. This is a continuation of earlier projects [1-3]. Fusing algorithms will be explored at some or all of the available levels of biometric information analysis:

Project Development Methodology

Your doctoral student Leigh Anne Clevenger prefers you work in an Agile format and will guide you in this project development methodology which involves: "frequent delivery of quality product", for example every two weeks, and "do the best you can with what you know now".
