Pace Graduate Center
The site of the conference is the Pace University Graduate Center in White Plains, New York. It is located across the street from the White Plains railroad station, a half hour trip from Grand Central Station in NYC, see Directions to Pace Graduate Center. White Plains is the seat of Westchester County, NY, with a population of 60 thousand and located 30 miles north of NYC.

This conference is always held on the Friday of the last Doctor of Professional Studies (DPS) weekend of the spring semester which usually falls on the first Friday in May. DPS students usually arrive for the weekend on Fridays for dinner 5-6 pm and stay for evening classes 6-9 pm and Saturday classes 9-5. On this Friday, however, we encourage DPS students to attend the conference prior to the evening session.

Papers presented at the conference come from all areas of computing - information technology, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, networking, security, systems development, etc. The authors range from faculty presenting their research, doctoral students presenting dissertation summaries or research in progress, masters-level students presenting dissertation or project studies, and occasionally undergraduates reporting on their research.

Reduced Hotel Rates
For the doctoral students and other conference attendees, we have arranged for reduced hotel rates at the Marriott Residence Inn White Plains, located at 5 Barker Avenue, White Plains, NY 10601. For reservations call 914-761-7700 (or call our contact Kathy at 914-272-2267) and ask for the Pace University weekend rate for Friday/Saturday night of $129 and the Pace University college rate of $159 for Thursday night. To take advantage of this rate make your reservations as soon as possible. The Marriott is within walking distance of the Pace University Graduate Center. This price is for a one bedroom suite with full kitchen and free parking.

While there is no registration fee because this is essentially an internal conference, please register to provide a count and record of attendees by sending an email message to Ms. Chris Longo containing the following information: your name, your email address, and whether you would like a bound copy of the conference proceedings. The proceedings will also be available on the website before and after the conference. Onsite registration will also be available.
