Lunch and dinner expenses:

India is NOT an expensive country (A reasonable haircut costs $1.00. You can buy a good pair of eye glasses for $60.00).if you choose restaurants carefully, you can have a quality lunch for about $10.00 and a good quality dinner at a good restaurant for about $15.00. Thus, your entire trip meals would cost about $350.00.

Visa fee:

Six months tourist / entry /Business visa US$60.

Single room occupancy:

The cost specified is for double occupancy. Additional single room Supplement is $500.00.

Moving around independently:

It is not expensive to move around independently. A common inexpensive mode of transportation in Bangalore and Mysore is what is called "autoriksha." These 2-3 seaters are available all over the place. Taxis are also available, though less frequently, but more expensive than autorikshas.
