Introduction:
To complete the unit on "Finding an Apartment" you
will use different technology resources to describe, find and persuade someone
in order to get your ideal place to live.

Task:
 |
You will create a graphic organizer describing your ideal place to live. |
 |
You will use the internet to find ads for an apartment in
your favorite city in Italy. |
 |
You will write a letter to a perspective landlord to find
out information and to persuade the person to give you the place. |

You will work with a partner and use the software
"inspiration" to create a graphic organizer outlining at least 5 rooms that you
would like in your ideal place and at least 3 items of furniture or features
you would like in each room.

You will look at maps of Italy and use your notes to choose
a city in which you would like to live.

You will use the internet and the resources
provided to find at least 3 ads for apartments in the area that you and
your partner chose.

Each of you will choose one of the ads and
write a letter to the landlord to ask for more information on the place and
to convince the landlord that you will be the ideal tenant for the
apartment.

You will receive a group grade for the
"inspiration" organizer as stated in the Group
Rubric |

You will receive an individual grade for the letter to the
landlord as outlined by the Letter Rubric |

By the end of this project you would have been able to use your
competency in Italian to describe, search for and persuade someone when
searching for your ideal place to live.
