Outtakes

Wow! The new DVD releases contain not only a movie, but outtakes and alternate endings as well! This video buff is in heaven! The never before experienced sensation of being a part of the movie crew is totally new and so welcome. I get an immediate sense of what they went through to get the scene right.

I get to choose the ending? Yes, with alternate endings, some DVD titles come with multiple possible outcomes. While currently limited to two different results, how long can it be before I can control the middle of the movie and there are 10 different outcomes? You saw Titanic 22 times? What if there were 10 different endings? Would you watch it 220 times? I might.

What's next? How about my choice of actor for the hero or heroine? Maybe...

The Twice Series

The recent release of all four episodes of the Twice series has brought back memories of the original joy of seeing those wild antics several years ago. The four released titles are:

Twice Vol. 1: Twice Is Nice
Twice Vol. 2: Twice Is Enough
Twice Vol. 3: Twice Is Never Enough
Twice Vol. 4: Thrice Is Enough

While simultaneously zany and pithy, I still chuckle over the antics and am left pondering the all important question, what would the title be were there a Volume 5?
