ENVIRONMENTALIST
back
The task of the environmentalist will be
to study the effect the power plant will have on the animals, plants and humans in the
area and on a global scale.

Use these questions to guide your
research, but do not limit yourself.
- How does the waste water from the cooling
system in the plant effect the marine life in the local water supply?
Does this play a role in the food chain?
Does it have global effects?
- What would be the consequences of a
radiation leak, locally and globally?
- What would be the consequences of a
nuclear meltdown, locally and globally?
- Under normal operating conditions, are
there any dangers related to nuclear radiation?
