The IEEE International Symposium of Smart Cloud (SSC 2015) The emergency of smart cloud computing has enabled a great improvement in multiple industries. The concept of smart has been paid a high attention by both researchers and practitioners from different perspectives. The approach of achieving smart is being sought to reaching diverse aims, such as high performance computing, energy-aware solutions, green computing, and artificial intelligence. As a crucial technical trend, smart cloud is considered a critical dimension of cloud computing implementations and growths. Gathering contemporary research achievements in the field is remarkably significant for the research.
The SSC 2015 is a research workshop cooperated with the CSCloud 2015. This symposium provide engineers and scientists in computing domain with an academic forum in which the new research achievements, ideas, and results are shared. The state-of-the-art smart computing applications and experiences in cloud computing and smart computing will be represented in this academic event.
The objective of SSC 2015 is to provide a forum for scientists, engineers, and researchers to discuss and exchange their new ideas, novel results, work in progress and experience on all aspects of smart computing and cloud computing. Topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to:
-

Considering some authors prefer publishing longer papers, we allow authors to submit up to 12 pages for regular papers, up to 6 pages for short papers/industrial papers, and up to 4 pages for posters/WiP/Ph.D. Forum. However, we do not encourage authors to submit overlength papers due to the over length charge. Refer to the following instructions for detailed information about the over length charge:
-
Full paper and research paper (Authors can have 6 complimentary pages. Submissions can be up to 12 pages in length with over length charge. Additional fee will be applied when submissions are longer than 6 pages.)
-
Short paper and industrial paper (Authors can have 4 complimentary pages. Submissions can be up to 6 pages in length with over length charge. Additional fee will be applied when submissions are longer than 4 pages.)
-
Poster/WIP and PhD forum (Authors can have 1 complimentary page. Submissions can be up to 4 pages in length with over length charge. Additional fee will be applied when submission are longer than 1 page.)
The accepted papers from this conference will be published by IEEE Computer Society in IEEE proceedings (indexed by EI Compendex). Distinguished papers, after further revisions, will be considered for possible publication in several SCI & EI indexed special issues of prestigious international journals. By submitting a paper to the conference, authors assure that if the paper is accepted, at least one author will attend the conference and present the paper.
