...has been an Adjunct Associate Professor of Information Systems since 1990. Prior to his appointment, he was an adjunct faculty member at Medgar Evers College of the City University of New York. In his current industry role, he serves as the Chief Information Officer - Corporate Finance Systems for General Electric Capital Services, the financial services division of GE Company. He has held various technology positions with GE Capital since 1989, including Manager of Telecommunications and Chief Technology Officer and Director of the firm's Global Project and Structured Finance organization.

Prior to his tenure with GE, he served in management positions at the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation and Bell South. He is also the former Associate Editor of Computer Almanac magazine. John is a member of the Advisory Board of the Pace University School of Computer Science and Information Systems. He is also a past member of the Advisory Council for the School of Management at New York Institute of Technology.

His interests include Telecommunications Traffic Engineering, Decision Support Systems, Multidimensional Database Technology, Information Systems Law and Distance Education.
