         HTCIA Outstanding Contribution Award (2010)
         Received an Outstanding Contribution Award from the Northeast Chapter of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association.

         Thinkfinity Grant (2009)
         Darren Hayes won a verizon Foundation ThinkFinity grant (which promotes literacy, education, and technology initiatives in the classroom) that has
         helped him continue to organize and expand the platform.

         HTCIA Outstanding Contribution Award (2008)
         Received an Outstanding Contribution Award from the Northeast Chapter of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association
         (HTCIA) at their annual holiday luncheon held on December 3 at the South Street Seaport. The award was given in recognition of Dr. Hayes’ and
         Shareq’s research presentation on the implications of Microsoft Vista in digital investigations before a large gathering of law enforcement and other
          forensic experts.

         Kenan Scholarly Research Grant (2007)
         Received a Kenan Scholarly Research Grant in support of their effort to seek grant money for intergenerational research. Their efforts
          resulted in funding for the purchase of equipment for students and seniors.

         Eugene M. Lang Presidential Grant (2007)
         Received a Eugene M. Presidential Award in support of their effort to seek grant money for intergenerational research. Their efforts
         resulted in funding for the purchase of equipment for students and seniors.

         Isabel Brabazon Research & Evaluation Award (2007)
         Received generations United $5,000, Isabel Brabazon Research and Evaluation Award for Intergenerational Research/Programs.
