Dreamspark accounts are created based on your current academic status. To be eligible for Dreamspark, you need to be currently enrolled in at least 1 credit of a course in the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems. Generally this means any CS, CIS, CIT, IS or IT course.
Accounts are separate from your Pace account, however they use your full Pace email as your account username. If your email is ab12345n@pace.edu
, that’s your Dreamspark account name.
During the first semester you take a Seidenberg course, your Dreamspark account will be created. This is automatic based on your enrollment status. Once the account is created, you should have an email in your inbox with activation instructions.
Hint: look for an email with “dreamspark” or “msdnaa” in the title or body.
If that happened a long time ago and you have lost the original activation email and can’t remember any details of your account, you can go to http://csis.pace.edu/dreamspark and reset your password. Alternatively, you can just click on the link below to go directly to the reset form.
Remember that your account name is your Pace email address.
Dreamspark accounts are only active during the semester that you are eligible. If this is the case, you may get a message about how your account is inactive, disabled or expired.
If you have recently registered for a class, our database may not be in sync. Please send us an email at msdnaa@csis.pace.edu from your Pace email address with the course identifier (ex. CIS 102, CS 488).
If you are a professor or adjunct professor in the Seidenberg School and you do not have an account, let us know at msdnaa@csis.pace.edu and we’ll create or reset it.
