Your booklet will consist of six pages
of information and pictures (one page of information and three pictures
for each of six separate tourist sites you must select.) There are no
restrictions on the types of places you can chose from, however, each
site must have a significant historical background to support the reason
you have selected it.
2.) Once the information has been collected, use Microsoft Word to write one page about each of the sites. Make sure that you save your work on a disk so that you can combine your work, with the work of your partner. Included in each of these pages should be the answers to the following questions: Why did you choose the site? What is the historical significance of the site? What will the President and First Lady learn about the site that they most likely did not already know? 3.) After each page of the booklet is written, use the internet to find interesting pictures about each site. You should select three pictures for each page you have written. Save the images, and use Photoshop to neatly cut and paste the pictures into the Word Document. (Please remember to be neat. If you do not want to use an entire image, use Photoshop to cut and paste the pieces of the picture that you want.) 4.) After each group member has completed their portion of the assignment,
they should meet with their floppy disks to combine their work. 6.) Punch wholes in the document using a whole puncher, and then place it into the binder I have provided you. Neatly paste the cover sheet on the front of the binder. |
