EVALUATION

 

"Ms. Byrnes, what do I need to hand in?"

You will need to hand in;

  1.  A TWO COLUMN Microsoft Word Document.  On the left side will be your original ingredient list and on the right side will be your new adjusted ingredient list.

  2. Looseleaf paper with all of your calculations HANDWRITTEN IN PENCIL and clearly marked.

  3. Two Paragraphs, typed, describing the steps you took in completing this project.

  4. The ANONYMOUS survey.

I will be using a rubric that you are very familiar with.  It is very similar to one you might see on the fourth grade ELA Exam.

Mathematical Calculation

Calculations and explanation are incomplete or incorrect. Calculations and explanation are completed but with some inaccuracy. Organization is lacking. Calculations and explanation are complete and correct. Evidence of attempted organization is present. Calculations and explanation are complete and accurate.  Evidence of solid organization.
Microsoft Word Document Document contains correct information but in a page format (no columns). Document consists of two columns.  Information is not aligned in a parallel manner. Information is difficult to visually compare. Two column document with heading.  Information is for the most part displayed parallel to each other.  Little or no graphics are used to enhance document. Two columns and a heading.  Information displayed  parallel to each other, graphics enhance the document, amounts are very easy to visually compare.
Use of technology
i.e.; searching the "net", use of Microsoft Word
Found needed information but spent a lot of time off task while in lab. Occasionally off task but used resources in a very basic manner. Utilized allotted time in lab.  Occasionally had to be redirected by teacher as to internet usage and rules of conduct. Remained on task throughout time in lab.  Utilized student approved search engines and graphics files. Conducted ones self according to rules of conduct.
