Electronic Voting and the Future of Democracy

Electronic voting is not ready for prime time. Recent evidence has shown that existing systems have back doors permitting arbitrary untracked changes to vote totals. These systems are in use in 37 states and are rapidly being implemented. The principals in some of the companies are blatantly political as well. This combination threatens the future of democracy.

The beginning of the weblog.

This is the first entry in what should be a continuing service to my students at Pace University. Some entries will be academic and some will be personal. Some might even be political in the broad sense.
