This program aims to serve a diverse population concerning ethnicity, race, gender, special needs, and socio-economic status. The program targets students entering grades 9–12 who are interested in cybersecurity. The intent is to decrease opportunity gaps that negatively impact these students' successful articulation through the cybersecurity education pipeline and into cybersecurity careers.

Therefore, we will select the applicants based on their commitment and interests to cybersecurity, and no prior knowledge or experience is needed. The number of participants is kept small to allow for individualized attention and optimal use of equipment.
