Not-For-Profit Leadership Summit IX

WNTC presented a workshop titled "Using Technology to Make your Non-Profit Greener". The workshop provided an overview of available technologies and a panel of representatives from local non-profit organizations (Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative, Pace University Computer Learning Center, Pace University Siedenberg School of CS & IS, Westhab and Westchester Children's Association) presented case studies to illustrate how their agency has used technology to "Go Green".

Not-For-Profit Leadership Summit VIII

WNTC presented a workshop at the Summit titled "Using the Web and Social Media to Advance Your Mission and Enhance Fundraising". The workshop presented the new technologies with the potential to help non-profits with free alternatives to email, document management and how to use social networking tools to promote their causes.

Not-For-Profit Leadership Summit VII

WNTC sponsored two workshops at the Summit. The first one was titled "How Not-for-Profits Can Succeed Online". The topics covered in this session were online social network, sites, trends and tools. The second session was titled "Harnessing Social Networking for Nonprofit Success: Maximizing Rewards and Minimizing Risks". The topics covered in this session were related to analyzing the costs and benefits, effectively managing and "controlling" social networking and case study/examples.

WNTC Lunch & Learn Series and Breakfast Bytes Series

WNTC regularly prepares workshops on technology related topics at early morning or lunch time, like "Top 10 Tips for PC User Self-Support" or "Websites: Do's & Don'ts". THIRD WNTC Technology Forum

WNTC presented in October 2008 a Technology Forum with the theme "Web 2.0: New Ways to Meet Your Organization's Mission and Goals". The forum was well attended and had as presenters important figures from the education and not for profit community. WNTC sponsored two workshops at the Summit. The first one was titled "Using Technology to Advance Your Mission". The topics covered in this session were Technology Planning, Technology on a Not-for-Profit Budget and How Technology can help achieve your mission. The second session was titled "Taking your Technology - and My Organization - to the Next Level". The topics covered in this session were related to Website optimization, how Web 2.0 tools can be used by your organization and best practices to better rank your Website with Internet search engines.

Not-For-Profit Leadership Summit V

WNTC was one of the presenters at the Summit. The workshop was titled "Technology: Taking it to the next level in your not-for-profit". The session highlighted the role of leadership in creating a technology plan, the varying needs of small, medium and larger not-for-profits, the kinds of hardware and software to consider, the importance of user training and how to enhance organizational effectiveness through networking.
